FENDI. PRESIDENTE MODA ALTAROMA

Nuovo presidente di AltaRoma è Silvia Venturini Fendi: "Ho accettato spinta dal grande amore che ho per la città". Alemanno, sindaco della capitale, ha dichiarato: "La sua direzione darà nuovo slancio". Nonostante gli impegni con il marchio di famiglia - Fendi - che esiste da 4 generazioni, Silvia ha accettato l'incarico di nuovo presidente di AltaRoma, la società che organizza le sfilate di alta moda. Nell'agenda della neo-presidente, argomenti sostanziali che vanno «dalla valorizzazione delle radici culturali e storiche alla sperimentazione di nuovi percorsi creativi, dalla formazione dei giovani alle forti potenzialità dei binomi moda cinema, moda e arte, moda e musica». Insomma, le sue intenzioni sono quelle di riportare i grandi nomi della couture sulle passerelle romane, lanciare i talenti di domani, attirare l'attenzione dei media e dei compratori di tutto il mondo. Un po' come accade a Milano, tempio indiscusso del pret a porter. Al suo fianco, a Roma, avrà il presidente onorario - Santo Versace - riconfermato così come il direttore generale, Adriano Franchi. Nel consiglio di amministrazione, oltre che la presidente uscente, Nicoletta Fiorucci, anche il presidente della Camera di Commercio, Andrea Mondello.
